Incorporated in 1982, Joffren Omar Company Sendirian Berhad is a Brunei BUMIPUTRA company wholly owned and managed by Bruneian. It is a Sales and Service company with its head office located at Seria, Negara Brunei Darussalam.

Since its inauguration in 1982, Joffren Omar Company Sdn. Bhd. has progressed to become one of the major material suppliers and service contractor to Brunei Shell Company Sdn. Bhd. and Brunei LNG Sdn. Bhd. Expansion and growth of business in the 80's and early 90's is met by an increase in manpower deployed and expanded organisation, upgrading and acquiring of new facilities and equipment.

Since 1992, in anticipation of a downturn in Brunei's oil and gas industries, the company has been exercising greater control, monitoring and review of its business strategies to suit the changing environment, and embarking on diversification of the organisation's business activities. To this end, the management is moving towards strategic management, planning and review in adaptation to the business environment. Targeted markets are clearly identified in order to capitalize on the organisation's strength and resources.

The Company had been certified to ISO 9002 since November 1996 and has now been re-certified to ISO9001:2000 in April 2003. This is to ensure that all services and products provided by the company meet with contractual requirement. The successful implementation of a Quality Management System would enhance our business profitability and efficiency, and position ourselves among the leaders in the provision of quality and reliable products and services to customers.
