Incorporated in 1982, Joffren Omar Company Sendirian Berhad is a Brunei BUMIPUTERA company wholly owned and managed by Bruneians. It is a Sales and Services Company with its head office located at Seria, Brunei Darussalam.

Since its inauguration in 1982, Joffren Omar Co. has progressed to become one of the major material suppliers and service contractors to Brunei Shell Petroleum Co. Sdn. Bhd. and Brunei LNG Sdn. Bhd. Expansion and growth of business in the 80’s and early 90’s is met by an increase in manpower deployed and expanded organization, upgrading and acquiring of new facilities and equipment.

During early 1990s where the crude oil prices was low and Oil & Gas Industry activities was slow and minimal, the company had been exercising greater control, monitoring and review of its business strategies to suit the changing environment, and embarking on diversification of the organization’s business activities. To this end, the management is moving towards strategic management, planning and review in adaptation to the business environment. Targeted markets are clearly identified in order to capitalize on the organization’s strength and resources.
